EAGLE WOMAN "Stares the Sun in the eye like they're the same. And they are. Like the Sun, she sees all. Like its beams penetrate the dirt, she penetrates the masks arround her. And in her spread she keeps the hearts f the world." Photography/Edition/Text Irina Metamorfoses |
MULHER BAMBU
Onde ela cresce, outras mulheres crescem e ela cresce com as outras mulheres." BAMBOO WOMAN "The Bamboo Woman has her roots deep. She is as dense as she is wide. She grows inwards so she can blossom to the world. From the center of the earth she gets her strength, hence she is not brought down by the storm, even if she has to bow to it. She knows when to lay down her head, only to raise it as soon as the storm fades. She gives way to emptiness so she can feed herself. She's never alone. Where she grows, other women grow, and she grows with the other women." Photography/Edition/Text Irina Metamorfoses |
